In my class we are learning to do persuasive writing and here is some of my first work.
Why rugby is the best sport in the world??
I think that rugby is the best sport in the world because it’s New Zealand’s national game and most of New Zealand’s population either watch it every week in the winter or play it every week. There are many types of rugby e.g. rugby league, touch rugby and rippa rugby. The club team I play rugby for is Eastern Suburbs 13th grade and have been involved in two rep teams in for Gwynne shield I played for Hamilton tigers and after that tournament a Waikato city and Waikato country team got selected and I got selected for the city team called the rovers. Rugby is the world’s greatest sport because people are still talking about the rugby world cup now and it was almost a year ago now. Most of the world’s biggest countries play rugby and for most of them it’s the national game most of the best sportspersons in the world play rugby. All my idol’s play rugby like Byron Kelleher, Richie McCaw, Liam Messam and much more.
Reflection:
I think the good things about my writing are my structure because right for the word go i go straight to the point. Another things is I have a clear opening statement.
There are alot of not to good stuff about my writing e.g i don't have any backing up statements i don't have much persuasive word in my work.
